Oh and the unofficial official statement on Caymans are end of the year. Fall to Winter. Sucks it's so far away!

I am loving it. The shift knob looks like one out of one of my old Hondas, that is the only fault I can find.

Love the look of the rear and the revival of the Carrera GT style key!

But wait... I thought our resident expert on all things Porsche said that the outgoing generation was the last of the flat 6's ???

Believe me I feel dumb. That is why I try and not speculate any more.

I saw that information on some automotive site - I didnt saved link

After that I heard same thing from few people on TS, including member Stoppie.

That decision will stay for 991, Panamera, Cayenne & now Boxster.
Maybe they will change that with next generation, but I am afraid they will not change new rule about branding (rear badges).

I hope it doesn't last long. One of the things I used to love Porsche for was their simple badging style. I guess its not that big of the deal as it seems on the 991 about 50% get the badge delete.

Me too. I just hope they will partly change their decision & allow people to pick what they want to have on rear of their (pretty expensive) cars.

So if someone want to have just Carrera S badge, why not let it have like that...

(imagine that you cant have just "GT3" badge placed)
