TPC Racing: 600HP 3.7L Cayman Turbo. Can you handle the power?

At TPC Racing, we just finished up our record shattering 3.7L Cayman Turbo! When we finished putting the 3.4L Cayman Turbo back together that was originally in it, the owner of the car wanted more power and something that would stand up to constant abuse. After sitting down and discussing the options, the 3.7L was the way to go in order to take this project to the next level.

To do this, we had to tear down the engine to machine the block to transform it from a 3.4L to 3.7L. After machining the sleeve's, the block was ready for TPC Racing custom forged pistons and connecting rods. By doing this, we were able to drop the compression from 11:1 to 10:1. This improves the torque in a huge way, making for huge torque while the boost comes in very smooth.

The owners initial goal was to reach 500 wheel horsepower. The first run we made without modifying the boost, we were able to put down 470WHP. Mike knew right then that 500WHP would definitely be attainable. Mike did some fine tuning and turned up the boost and ended up making 515WPH! That calculates to about 600HP crank! When driving this car, it is a true experience. The power comes on so smooth it's like it came from the factory that way. It is a pleasure to drive with normal drivability like our other turbo kits, but once you start applying power and the boost starts to come in, you open up a new world. Pull up to a 997 Twin Turbo or a Corvette Z06 and just pull away from them and leave the owners scratching their heads.

This is the most power we have gotten out of a 3.7L Cayman Turbo build. The lowered compression and custom internals of the engine allow us to run higher boost for a longer period of time. This 3.7L Cayman Turbo is the most impressive Cayman I have ever driven. Each time I drove it, I did not want to get out and was left with a smile that I could not get off of my face. It is just amazing! The car is now being shipped back to it's owner in Saudi Arabia.

Being a Cayman owner (now on my 2nd) i know this isnt THE question to ask with these cars but wonder what 1/4 mile times this baby is going to pull? 0-60? 60-120?
