I am glad I did not come across this thread last Saturday, while searching dealer inventory for a Spyder. I discovered the subject car on Euroclassics web site and it was agony waiting until Monday morning to find out if the car was still in inventory.
The car is now on a truck headed to Oregon. It seems Oregon may have cornered the market on PTS Spyders.

 

Congratulations, Jon. Great catch. Oregon now is the undisputed leader as the home base of two PTS Blue Spyders - this Azure and Donavan's Riviera. Texas has one - the Speed Yellow. And California might get the PCNA's PTS Meteor Grey demo. We will wait and see on that one!

All Spyder production was terminated in the last week of July, 2011. I think we can confirm now that around 2000 Spyders were built for the world over the two model years - MY'11 and MY'12 - of production. Of those, around 700 of the MY'11's and 125 of the MY'12's came to the US. For those that don't know or remember, Jon's PTS Azure was built in July and has Vin #5179. The last known Vin # heading for the US is #5202, going to Atlanta. Does anyone know of a later Vin that that?
