That's just bizarre. I'd tell him to get friendly with his neighborhood dent removal guy.

Why? It will come back if it's a design flaw.

How is that possible Cole? The Cayman R is the same as any other Cayman- just more neg camber dialed in. I've never heard of this issue on any cayman being raced.

yeah i have never seen that... even on all of the interseries cars that we work on and our factory cars... I recommend they return to the dealer and have them look at it. I have certainly seen my fair share of hard core tracked caymans and I have never seen that. Unfortunately I am not aware of the internal parts at that area of teh car.

I agree. I'm just the messenger here. He clearly stated to me that the car was having that issue and it was denting the car in corners.

Does anyone know if the suspension (stock) in a Cayman R in the rear is the same or different from a regular Boxster or Cayman?

What I'm trying to figure out is how something could be putting a dent there. If the suspension or tire was hitting the rear fenders on the inside, it'd push it out and make a bubble, not a dent.

Even if it was, the mounting points didn't change at all. He's ignoring the most simple answer- HIM.

Did the car do it w/o the change in tires?

The Cayman R's suspension slightly differs.

Well, it's the car. No doubt about it. Guy has looked it over and it's the same on both sides. I hear everyone, but car ain't in my garage. I just figured it might be common. Porsche already knows about it now.

I'd like to see the pictures... but dents would indicate that something is 'pulling in' the sheetmetal. (stating the obvious here, I know)...

so odd.
