Do you have a race prepped Cayman? Very accessible Cayman racing
Intercontinental Trophy Cup Porsche Cayman Racing Series
Hey guys - any of you with race prepped Caymans are really missing out on not playing with us in this new ITC Cayman race series, Intercontinental Trophy Cup - Porsche Cayman Racing Series. We have had an absolute blast. All race weekends are 2 or 3 day events with plenty of practice and race time. NASA sets aside a full one hour out of their busy track day schedule for the ITC race on Saturday and Sunday. At this level, where can you go to race some of the best tracks in the country for two full hour races on a weekend? We have already been to Homestead, Sebring and New Jersey Motorsports Park. The best is yet to come - Mid-Ohio, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen and Road America. I think Doug Livingston the principal behind this will show flexibility to set up specs. If you have a track prepped Cayman, contact him; dougie@trophycupracing.com. We have a couple Interseries Cars running that required very little alterations - could easily be done prior to our Mid-Ohio event July 15-17 where we test, tune and practice on Friday and race the weekend.

I can personally go faster in a track prepped Cayman than a GT3 RS and pass many on track days when not racing. I tracked an 08 for 2 years. In a professionals hands a GT3 I am sure would be quicker. That's what is great about this series - fast cars that are forgiving.

We may have an available car for a ride and drive at the remaining events this year which are Mid-Ohio 7/16-17, Road Atlanta 8/6-7, Watkins Glen 10/1-2 and Road America 10/8-9. We have an Isringhausen P2 car without a driver and would consider renting out. Let me know if interested. geoff@isringhausen.com.
