You and me both bud. Every time I log into TS I cringe a little at not having much to update.

Lets see... recently we purchased a Pectel SQ6 ECU

with the dual lambda, fly by wire, and traction control upgrades. Along with a full wiring harness.

Also, a Motec CDL3 dash to replace my current dash unit.

with a few extra goodies. This system has built in track telemetry to record and download everything the car does after a drive. Pretty neat stuff!

I'm following the thread avidly too...

Just an idea:
Have you thought about a removable roof, a bit like a Carrera GT?
If you have a full rollcage it won't be much of a problem.

What's going to be used mostly for, trackdays, open roads?

Convertibles are not really my thing. I think the Cayman really gets a lot of its shape from the roof itself, but who knows.

Maybe I'll look into it. Carbon fiber roof is going to be molded sometime in the next two weeks.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Are you still lowering the roof line?

And please post up some build pictures when you get them.

Roof line is staying where it is.... check a few pages back for pics of a GT2 with a lowered roof. Looks awful.

I'll definitely be posting pics as soon as the car goes under the knife. Any day now hopefully.
