Those that want the Cayman CS better get to the dealers right after the bow at the LA Auto-show and get their order in. There will be a greater demand for the CS than there was for the Spyder because of the hardtop vs the sunshade, the Spyder is not everyone's cup of tea in the colder climates as a daily driver. Not to mention the track-ability....They will sell fast and the lesson should have been learned regarding the Spyder and lack of them after the initial production run.

I've already got my hooks in... I am shooting for Spring 2012 factory delivery. Now I just need to pay off my current P-car.

I'm sure the delivery time frame will be the same as the Spyder was. I ordered my Sypder in Nov 09, right after the the LA Auto show bow and one day after the ordering banks opened. I had a choice of a May or June 2010 delivery date. All three of my dealer allotments were sold within 3 days of the ordering bank going live. So don't hesitate or you may be in the same boat as all those people that had a wait and see attitude about the Spyder, without a car and regretting it.

So I thought the deal with the Cayman S never getting a rear LSD was because it would be faster around a track than a standard 911, which would be blasphemy... apparently now this thing should walk all over a 911?
