Suspension Package

Hi Golfguy11800,

RSS TARMAC Series Control Arms

RSS is proud to offer the “Tarmac Series 2-Piece Lower Control Arms”. These arms have been designed for the Porsche Driver who demands the absolute maximum in precision handling and feedback from their chassis. The TARMAC system has been engineered to provide unmatched performance, quality, strength and serviceability.

The RSS Tarmac Series Control Arms were engineered to address the performance related short comings of the OEM rubber mounted suspension components which were designed to reduce road noise and vibration for everyday street use. The use of rubber injected mounting in components such as the Control Arms, Thrust Arms, Upper Links and Toe Arms is a compromise in regards to maximum suspension performance as soft durometer rubber deflects under suspension load which in turn causes unwanted movement (deflection) between the suspension and chassis resulting in unnecessary corrections and inputs from the driver.

Features & Benefits

• Completely Serviceable: For the extreme, repetitive track-day participant, our high-strength steel alloy spherical bearings (with a friction reducing/longevity increasing Teflon liner) can be replaced unlike the motorsports arm, in which case the customer will have to buy a new set of arms if the spherical bearings are worn.

• Adjustable Suspension Geometry: Adjust dynamic camber values and roll center heights with our unique zinc-plated steel bushings.

• Solid Monoball Control Arm Ends: Offers a more responsive suspension over the factory one-piece rubber-injected control arm (also uses the same high strength steel alloy spherical bearing found in our control arm monoball kit).

• Control Arms Manufactured from 6061 Aerospace Grade Billet Aluminum: This allows for a more uniform molecular structure at every point of the arm over the cast motorsports arm giving the customer a more durable and inherently stronger part. Manufacturing from billet aluminum rather than casting results in fewer impurities in the metal.

• Unique Design: provides more gusseting over the motorsports arms for added strength and an aesthetically pleasing look.

• Anodized Aluminum Surface and Zinc-plated Steel Parts: Allows for better corrosion resistance against the elements.

Feel free to call me with specific questions in regard to swaybars or complete suspension packages based on you needs.

Great job! Huge improvement over stock. Exactly how I would like mine to look if I owned one.

Held a pair of the RSS lower control arms... things are sick! If I didn't already have OEM gt3 arms on, I would certainly buy these... in fact, Im thinking about trading them out... lol

highly recommend... worth three times the price of stock

Thanks for all the positive comments guys, very much appreciated. We can't make these Control Arms quick enough and look forward to getting them to anyone that needs their ride "hooked up and planted". Enjoy the weekend.

Hi C.Plavan:

Mike had that info in the first post:

· RSS 7mm Spacer Kit Front (Part #343/10 - Silver)
· RSS 18mm Spacer Kit Rear (Part #341/10 - Silver)

We have worked on a few Spyders the last few weeks, most go with 7mm in front, 15mm in rear depending on how low your ride height is and how aggressive you want to go out back....

Thanks....

DOH! I just got lost in the great pictures

What do you recommend for the Spyder for a rear sway bar (everything else stock)? I want to dial out some push.
