Here is a Cayman S that we completely wrapped in Xpel Premium Paint Protection Film and designed and installed custom FLX Paint Racing Stripes. This project began with a thorough hand wash and clay bar treatment to remove any surface contaminants that might interfere with our installation process. Once this stage is completed we initiated a two-stage Menzerna polishing process to remove any imperfections in the paintwork prior to installation. With the Xpel Premium Film there is no texture so the film is optically clear with no orange peel. With this said if the paintwork under the film is not perfect you will see any and all imperfection that were not corrected. Our polishing process ensures a perfect finish and a great install. This was a completely custom job which provided a much greater amount of protection compared to a traditional kit. All edges were wrapped and tucked and close attention was paid to installing each body part in a single piece application with no seams. Once completed we sealed all the film with Xpel Paint Protection Sealant to ensure maximum shine and protection.

A few weeks later we designed and installed a new type of film called FLX Paint. This is real paint and clear sprayed onto and adhesive backing providing many new options for exterior customizing. The color used in this application is call Matte Gregio Grey and once scaled and measured we designed the stripes in our graphic software and cut them on our plotting machine. This was a great project and a one of a kind with this color combination.

XPEL Film Sealant is an acrylic polymer product that is purpose-made for protecting any aliphatic urethane paint protection film. Attaching itself at a molecular level, the sealant forms a hardened barrier when exposed to UV light. By sealing off the pores in the film, the sealant will reduce absorption of pollutants, tar, and pollen; as well as staining due acid rain, hard water and bugs by 90%. Because this product is engineered specifically for Aliphatic Polyurethane, it is much more durable on Paint Protection Film than other waxes and polishes.
