Its a neat car that being said, no way I would buy a boxster unless I had a vag. I have driven one it is fun Cayman is a superior car
to me and to buy this and load it with options especially close to 90k buy a used 997.1GT3 or 996 GT3 all day for the track if thats
your goal.

just an fyi, the guys from guard transmission think that the LSD in the Cayman/Boxster PDK transmission won't stand up to heavy track duty. luckily you have your rs for that

Congrats on such a great car ! It looks perfectly specced ! I may suggest only one mod though... Loose the boxster logo from the back. A simple "Spyder" logo would be sooooooooo cool !

Marc- he already has a 2010 GT3RS which he has promptly flogged on the track.

No vag there.

Savvy is PURE balls to the wall bonkers for Porsche. And this Spyder will smash the sh*t outta pretty much any Cayman S.

GT3RS- Check
Spyder- Check Check
Track Junky- Check Check Check-

No vag there my friend.

Hi Marc- Purely from a financial, not ever ever recoup your initial investment, perspective, I agree with you, no doubts. Loaded with hugely depreciating options, would get killed in the used car market.

But from a second track toy perspective, PCCB, Sport Chrono, LiON battery, all the OE weight-loss items, then it makes perfect sense. Weight is the enemy after all to a great handling car. Wait until you see the black anodized, ultra lightweight, forged alloy wheel$ I have going on it in three weeks

I am as excited to get this little rascal tracked as I was the RS. And that track time is only ten days away And I have never owned a convertible and up here in the Sierra Nevada mountains it will be great for topless fun runs too.

I have read that- shame on Porsche. My dealer will rebuild the diff at least once under warranty if/when it wears out. Then a Guard will go in.

I wonder if I can get the license tag "TRACKVAG"? hehe... A take-off on being a track-bitch...

You know I just did another two track days at Spring Mountain this past weekend with the RS. What a car, just a pleasure to wring it out. Over 4000 miles on it with half of that track miles. New brake pads and new tires already.

Track Crack Baby! Lol
