This will be a warm-weather only car since it looks HIDEOUS with the top up. Top down, I love it...

Interesting car for sure.
I like that its weight is 2811 which is only 71 pounds heavier than the original 986. The original 986 had 201 hp and this Speedster has 320. You do the math! I'm sure it will be a fun little car.
However, no radio, no a/c and even no cup holder is a no-go for me unless it's a track only car. Porsche should be able to get the weight down to this respectable level but still keep some of the necessary street comforts.

It seems to me like it may be a fair-weather only car...in the side photo it looks like the top is similar to a bikini top on a Jeep Wrangler, in that it does not seal the cabin off from the elements.

Regardless, less weight, more hp is a step in the right direction for the Boxster.

You can save more wheight with PCCB, how much less are they like 45lbs? Then add some light wheight wheels.

For those who need the amenities, you can order, AC, radio and cupholders.

I agree. DJ posted the link to the Porsche Boxster Spyder Experience. I love the white as well.
