Porsche Boxster Spyder Unleashed
#15
Hope it sounds good, wonder how much weight the PDK adds back into it. looks like this is not a limited edition but third boxtser model based on the news article. So you should be able to order it in different colors then.

So hardcore, I love it!
So I bet there won't be a Boxster RS now then? Some sources meant that there would be two versions, a Boxster Speedster (just normal Boxster S with powerdomes and unique styling I suppose) and a lightened hardcore Boxster RS. But it seems they made this one car instead of those two. The early spy-photos from Nurburgring with the hardtop must have been from a very early stage or they simply were planning two versions from the start.
I think it would have been better looking without the powerdomes, but I don't care really. This must be a blast to drive on trackdays!
Oh, and by the way, I think Porsche are being very careful about the 0-60 time (as always), of course the car will be more than 0.2 seconds quicker than the original Boxster S. However, they don't want this to affect the sales of the 911 Carrera, which is claimed to do 0-60 in 4,7. I mean, according to Porsche themselves a Boxster can't beat a 911. ;-)
Wonder what times this car will perform on Nurburgring with PDK and PCCB?
