Supposed to start arriving in late Dec. Was supposed to be able to spec my car on Sept 6th when it was unveiled but there are no prices up in the states. Other countries are set up with prices.

Personally I find the updated RR completely stunning. I will definitely have one in my garage within six months.

I agree, everyone saying it looks like this or that SUV is stoned, the Rover is a classic, PERIOD

Come on. The rover was 1 vehicle you had a button for EVERYTHING. You could operate every control using gloves. IMO keep the touch screen rubbish for the cars, please leave the SUV's with real physical buttons and levers. Yes I know it's a Cayenne, but you get the idea..

They rip all the buttons out and replace it with what, a screen and transmission selector right out of a Jag.

I absolutely detest the stupid infotainment system on the new Jags. Main reason why we've had ours nearly a year now and its got only 2K on the clock. Stupid gear selector, hate how you have to press down then scroll clockwise to get sport to engage, why do they need to complicate life.?

Oh, and stupid infotainment system once again. Extremely disappointed with the route Tata is choosing to take RR down. Guess we'll need to get our hands on a 2012 before they're all sold out.

The levers you speak of are still there. They took away many of the A/C controls and seat warmer/vents from the center console, thats really it. It makes it look cleaner.
The infotainment system is not from the JAGS at all, the tech this car has is up with audi, bmw and MB; JAG is still far behind as of now. Glad you still like the 12' you can probably get a good deal on one.

I think the new model looks so great. There are so many choices with the exterior now that I have no idea what spec I will order, in terms of color, contrasting roof, and wheels.

I am glad there are haters of the new model, there will be less of them on the road.

Sorry I missed the Terrain Selectors, my mistake. But that screen is right out of the Jag. If you give me a couple of hours, I'll prove it to you once I get home.

If you don't feel like waiting, google up the Jag XF or XJ infotainment system.

Bet my shorts that they're the same...

10 second google search. Not my pics but they give you an idea. The WORST infotainment system I've ever had the displeasure of using is the Jag's..

Not hating, just disappointed. We'll probably still be one of the first to have the new shape here, as we were when every new model has appeared. It just annoys me that they're doing away with what makes Range Rover, a Range Rover. The vehicle had a classic flair about it.

Do what you want with the Sport, but please leave the Classic as it is.
