2014 Rolls Royce Corniche (Ghost Coupe) Spotted Again

Rolls Royce engineers have just been spotted again by our Teamspeed spies, running the streets of Munich with their latest creation – The 2014 Rolls Royce Corniche Coupe.

Though Rolls engineers have tried to camouflage the true shape of this Corniche prototype, it's not very hard to see that the roof-line slopes much more at the rear than the Rolls Royce Ghost sedan.

Amusingly, they've even affixed a second set of fake door handles, pretending the Coupe will get conventional doors. But we're not fooled at all, the Corniche will get the same type of suicide doors like the bigger Phantom Coupe. And no, it will not have four doors.

Riding on the same chassis as the Ghost sedan, expect the Corniche to feature the same 6.6 liter twin-turbo V12 pumping out 563 horsepower.

The official debut should come some time during 2013, maybe at the Frankfurt Car Show in September.

 

I'm hoping that the way the whole back lips up is just for camo. Other than that it looks pretty exec.

 

This thing is a game changer.

I don't dig the suicide doors though! It could be cool looking car! now all they need is "drophead" version of that!!
