Spy Shots: Rolls-Royce Ghost Coupe

Rolls-Royce’s new baby won’t debut until 2014, but our spy photographers have captured shots of the heavily camouflaged Ghost Coupe out in the wild. Even with the trippy paint job and camo on the front clip, it’s clear there will be a strong facial resemblance to its four-door sister.

But the hindquarters are leaving quite a bit to the imagination, and we can assume that the duck tail spoiler—like the superfluous door handles—are there just to distract nosy onlookers. The mechanical bits are likely to remain unchanged from the current Ghost’s twin-turbo 6.6-liter V-12. More pics below.

I'm liking it a lot. The Phantom Coupe was too large to drive in congested cities, hope this car is nimble to drive around town.

I'm a huge fan of the Phantom, but never have warmed to the Ghost, I don't think a 2 door coupe is going to change that...

Still, Rolls-Royce are obviously confident there is a market for it, I can imagine it will sell well in certain countries, which is great news for all employed at the factory in Goodwood.

 

It's like these wraps were on special discount and every auto maker snatched em' up for this years testing !

 

With the camo on, that might be one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen

I was never a fan of the Ghost sedan but somehow I feel the coupe will sell really well. I just wanna know what's going on with the back of the car? It looks unfinished.
