Video in Motion for Land Rover

Land Rover is a British car manufacturer with its headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire, United Kingdom which specializes in four-wheel-drive vehicles.

It is owned by the Indian company Tata Motors, forming part of their Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) group. It is the second oldest four-wheel-drive car brand in the world after Jeep.

Just like the Jeep was used in Military applications, various Land Rover models have been used in military capacity, most notably by the British army. Some mods include "blackout" lights, heavy-duty suspension, upgraded brakes, 24 volt electrics, convoy lights, electronic suppression of the ignition system, infotainment systems, navigation, blackout curtains and mounts for special equipment such as weapons.

These days Land Rover is the pinnacle of Luxury SUV's and Utility vehicles. Their sleek lines and performance engines rival even some sports car on the market today. As with technology, Land Rover continues to be at the cutting edge, by being a long proponent of having LCD screens in their vehicles. A long time user of the MOST, fiber optic network, Land Rover/Range Rover is engineered to some of the most serious standards in the Automotive Industry.

The 2012 Land Rover models come equipped with a factory DVD and multiple trim levels. The LR2, LR4 have the option as a Premium Level for Navigation and factory DVD. Safety is a Big deal for Land Rover, so being able to add a Backup Camera is important. NAV-TV has a Solution that will allow you to add a Rearview Camera to the 2012 Land Rover / Range Rover vehicles.

The VTC-RR-X-CAM and the OPV-iR-X-CAM modules from NAV-TV are completely plug-and-play. This allows for the addition of an aftermarket reverse camera to be viewed on the factory LCD/Navigation monitor. The reverse camera image displays on the factory LCD/Navigation screen automatically whenever the vehicle is placed into reverse.

What is super cool about both of these NAV-TV Backup Camera modules, is that they allow navigation destinations to be entered while the vehicle is in motion and also enables the viewing of the factory DVD player for passenger entertainment.

If you only want to unlock the Navigation and Factory DVD you can use the VTC-XG-RR-05-09/NTV-KIT338 , VTC-XG-RR-10&UP/NTV KIT339, or VTC-RR12/NTV-KIT342 for Video in Motion for Land Rover.

Currently, the VTC-RR-X-CAM and OPV-iR-X-CAM are compatible with 2010 and up Land Rover LR4, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Full-Size and the European Discovery 4.

For Land Rover owners that wish to install an aftermarket A/V system, such as a game system, iPod video, mobile ATSC-MH tuner or satellite television, the OPV-iR-X-CAM also allows the factory entertainment system to accept an audio and video input.

A touch screen icon will be created on the factory LCD screen, eliminating the need for toggle switches, accesses the A/V input provided by the OPV-iR-X-CAM. Video in motion for the A/V input is also supported.
