Custom V1 Mirror System - Bentley Flying Spur

This is a custom V1 Mirror System with an independent laser jamming setup. The glass in these cars has a metallic coating that prevents the V1 from operating if it's inside the vehicle so the V1 unit was installed in a weatherproof enclosure and mounted in the front grill. The install was done by Prestige Sounds in Boynton Beach FL.

i notice that my passport 9500ix doesnt respond in my bentley gt as well as my other cars...is it b/c of the metallic coating in the glass you mentioned? i have it hard-wired...is it even worth it to use in the car or do i need to upgrade it to the v1/passport 9500ci?

My understanding is the metal coating in the glass is going to prevent any windshield mounted unit from operating properly. I seem to recall reading something about there being a small area on the glass that was designed for a tolltag device but don't recall if this was for a Bentley or another car. If you can't get it to work the 9500ci will definitely solve the issue.
