Radar issue in bentley

i recently purchased an escort passport 9500xi with gps...the radar works really well in detecting redlight cameras in my other cars but whenever i use it in the bentley gt...it never goes off...does anyone know why it doesnt respond well when only in the bentley? thanks in advance...

I know with the V1 you have to mount it below the factory tint line towards the top of the windshield for it to work, maybe the Bentley has some crazy windshield where the entire thing has a metallic tint?
