My New 2011 Continental GT
#1
I got this last month, one of the first in the UK...
It's a beauty
So happy
The colour is called 'Moonbeam', I wanted to get the matt white they have on the Speeds but on these delivery slots you couldn't change anything... But next year when they release convertible I will get ice matt
Mulliner package etc. (ugly wheels
)
This car is very comfortable indeed, even in the back! Whilst having enough power to use if you want to... The sound is also quite damp, I would say... But this is a Bentley; not a Ferrari and is ultimate luxury
Anyway, nice new front!:

Awesome line going down the middle of the bonnet

Nice ass with spoiler :P

The boot is a lot more sharper than the previous model; which was a lot rounder...
New daytime LED lights

New dashboard etc:

Passengers can now actually see the speedometer etc; unlike in the previous model which the speedometer etc. was embossed... really weirdly.
But annoyingly, at night the speedometer etc. is reflected upon the windscreen, and is quite distracting... Maybe because I like to sit quite high :/

Otherwise, Naim sound system is OK - nothing special, and touch screen is VERY annoying... Also new controls on steering wheel, will take a while to get used to as buttons are located differently and menu system has also completely changed!
Plenty of space for... passengers in the back

Overall, a great car to drive... Comfort, luxury and enough power!

I drove one of these last week. I really like the changes in the interior as well as some of the exterior changes. The nav system and electronics of the old one sucked.
Suspension felt about the same which meant predictable, very heavy, a little floaty, horrible turn-in, but supremely stable at any speed. Engine felt slightly stronger but it always surprises me how slow it feels for such a "fast" car--just seems like it takes a little while to take a breath of air before it catapults down the road. Eh, I'll just stop there, its an impressive car but I think the game has moved on a bit.
Hope you enjoy yours. They are still some of the best looking cars on the road.
