Ai Design Supersports Radar/Laser Integration

Hey Guys just wanted to show off some of our Radar/Laser integration options for the Supersports. These are just some photos of a few completed installs, however we are always open to working with clients should they prefer alternative display/control locations and configurations.

For this particular install, we chose to integrate the 9500ci display straight into the dashboard, right above the OEM navigation screen. The display sits behind smoked acrylic for a discreet appearance when the unit is powered off.

For this particular V1 install, the display was located into the driverside air vent assembly. The unit is easily visible for the driver and is nearly undetectable when powered off.

Fantastic install guys!!

Question: when installing K40 on a Panamera or Cayenne, do you install front AND rear Diffuser or both sensors on the front? (I'll elaborate more later)

Where did you guys mount the V1 radar unit on the silver cars exterior?

Do you consider exterior V1 mounting to be suitable for wet/winter weather driving?

Harvey, we usually hide the main V1 unit somewhere within the interior of the vehicle. In the case of the Supersports that is shown, the main unit is actually attached to the windshield using standard suction cup mounts as that is what the customer preferred.

In regards to exterior mounting of the main V1 unit, I wouldn't recommend that as the V1 unit itself is not waterproof. We have done so in the past, but never if it is not absolutely necessary. In those instances we usually fabricate a protective housing for the unit.

Haha, that is amazing! I love that you hid it in the air vent! Like a modern James Bond, minus the ejector seat
