Post Range Rover Evoque 5-door revealed - debut in Los Angeles

Land Rover has released the first image of the five-door Range Rover Evoque. While the company was mum on details, engine options will include a 240 PS (177 kW / 237 hp) turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol and a 2.2-liter turbodiesel which will be rated at 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) and 190 PS (140 kW / 187 hp).

Official data is still pending, but Land Rover expects the front-drive Evoque, equipped with a manual transmission and the entry-level diesel, will return 58 mpg UK (4.9L/100km / 48 mpg US) and emit less than 130 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The five-door model will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, in November, so stay tuned for continuing coverage.

Is this an addition to the range, or a replacement for the RRS?

I prefer the 2-door...
And those engine options are lame/weak/not enoguh HP compared to those on the RR Sport

Doesn't look rangey to me. Looks like something Ford would put out.

it looks a lot like the Ford Flex. The front is good, but the back is a miss with that window design.
