Bentley Continental GT gets a new nose, more swoop for 2011

Interesting news from Auto Express article about upcoming second generation of Continental GT.
As we revealed a few weeks ago, the facelifted GT carefully evolves the current car's look with a sleeker shape. At the front, there's a more upright grille while the lower bumper has been reprofiled to include a wider air intake. New LED headlights now feature integrated headlamp washers, further simplifying the front end.
Other tweaks include a chrome-clad crease which runs along the bottom of the doors, while the wing mirrors get incorporated LED indicators. New seven-spoke alloys also feature, while at the rear, the tail has been lengthened and the haunches softened, completing the sleeker look.
Under the bonnet, expect the Continental GT to get the VW Group's latest 6.3-litre W12 engine. Debuted by the latest A8, it should boast around 600bhp in Bentley form – up from the outgoing car's 552bhp 6.0-litre engine – thrusting the big coupe from 0-60mph in four seconds.
Despite this power hike, it's likely to be cleaner too, with lower emissions and better fuel economy, not to mention the ability to run on E85 Bioethanol, just like the current Supersports flagship. Prices are likely to rise, though. Expect to pay around £135,000 for the Continental GT when it goes on sale before the end of the year.
