Recently Bentley unveiled what it calls the fastest most powerful Bentley ever devised. They named it Supersport and it makes a fanatic 630hp. Edo Competition says "taste these apples Bentley" as they unveil their own version of the GT. The edo GT refocuses the engine's ECU to get 680hp (500kW) from the 6.0-litre twin turbo W12 engine and maximum torque of 750Nm at 2500rpm. Edo says the car will take off from 0 - 100km/h in 4.2 seconds, from 0 - 200km/h (124mph) in about 13 seconds and reach a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).

Contact with the tarmac is made through 20-inch Sport Contact V-Max tyres which are made by Continental exclusively for the edo speed GT. The tyres are size 275/ 35 ZR 20 in the front and 275/ 35 ZR 20 in the rear. Customers are able to specify their own desired colours for the wheels which could made for some very interesting viewing if the imagination is applied. A new high-performance stainless steel exhaust system was developed for the car and is said to make a sound rivaled only by the voice of Zeus himself. The suspension can be adjusted by lowering it up to 35mm.

 

Car looks great. A little bit disapointed with 4.2 seconds to 100 km/h, waited at least new Supersports version acceleration numbers.

 

I'm surprised the 0-60 times isn't a little faster as well. You'd think it'd be below 4 seconds with nearly 700 hp on tap, along with awd.

 

The matte paint works great on super cars, but I can't say the same for luxury grand tourers.
