I owned both. The Bentley was the better made car for sure. The Aston is much better looking though

while i agree the DB9 is good looking, it starts to look too much like the old Jaguars to me... and with the new DBS well it definately doesn't look that exotic anymore

the Bentley is a more muscular, handsome design and doesn't resemble anything out there that I can think of... so to me it has a more unique look, especially from the front 3/4 view where the haunches of the rear wheels really show

i don't like the Bentley back view, and it needs the 20" mulliner rims at the least to look right

also something to consider

when the new Maserati GT came out i thought that was the best looking car ever...

now 6 months later it hasn't held its luster in my eye, but the CGT still looks great to me (something that cannot be said for the Flying Spur)

it's like top 40 hits vs. classic rock

I looked at both, and have the '08 DB9 6MT
3 yr unlimited mileage warranty.
Service is at 10K miles or 1/yr. $1K
2nd service at 20K miles and is $2K
I have over 8K miles on mine, and it runs perfect so far.

IMO...DB9 is beautiful, sounds great, and is thrilling to drive...420 lbs of torque/rear wheel drive, will get your heart going.

The Bentley is beautiful on the inside...little boring on the outside, and a yawn to drive compared to the Aston.

awesome awesome replies. thank you so much for them. As you can imagine I still don't know what to do, because you all seem to agree. db9 may look a little better, but cgt is probably more reliable. Given that I have a head and a heart the choice isn't easy.

for those you you that think 50,000euro for the cars aren't possible.. look at topmarques.co.uk and remember that the GBP is at 1.12 EUR.

thank you again for all your replies.
