Boggels the mind that that huge thing can actually get into the air let alone fly around the world.

That's awesome. The Air France one flies right over my building just meters north of Dulles airport. I often check flight times online on Thursdays and Fridays so I can go out and see it arrive.

Like Gmac says, it's incredible watching something that huge float through the air.

It just so happens the the day I finally remembered to take a long lens to work the planes were arriving on the South side of IAD, so I'm still after a "good" shot, but here's one I took right under it a while back:

The korean livery makes it look like a smiling whale..

I just got back from London yesterday, and even flying on a 747 boggles my mind how these big birds fly This one is masssssssive!
