I think it will go to 8. I wanted to pull 6 but he wouldn't do it since we didn't have G suits on. It was my first time ever doing aerobatics so I figured it was best not to push it.

They have another pilot that does their actual air show routines so the next time he is around I may see about going up again for the full monty. He has a routine he calls the "Tomcat demo" that apparently puts the L-39 through its paces.

Awesome flight! It kills me that our government destroys the flight worthiness of our aircraft before selling them, and that the only way to purchase a modern U.S. fighter/helicopter is from a foreign country.

Why do they always stop the plane before accelerating for takeoff, cant they just make the turn onto the runway, then blast it?

^^^Probably because of timing. They've got to wait to take off until they get the go ahead from the airport traffic controller. Sometimes they do a rolling take off though. I love those! Especially in a 757!
