I would pass on the refined interior of the CJ for the 7th seat option and the avionics package that I am quite familiar with. Although probably not advisable, the Phenom 300 could be easily flown by a single pilot which would leave 8 other seats available which is tough to beat for the price point of the plane and it's capabilities.

If you have experience flying IFR and being in the "soup" then it wouldn't be a problem. I would not have any issues whatsoever flying the Phenom as a single pilot. It's certified to do so, the avionics package is supremely simple, and it's handling is quite docile. You are over the fence at 109kts, so that's not fast at all. I guess I'm biased too as I grew up with my father flying a Citation S-II single pilot.

Oh and on the price, this plane can qualify for the 100% depreciation that is in effect now.

The CJ4 as with other CE525 types are Single Pilot certified. CJ4 is an upgrade path for current CE525 Type owners.
