Some pics of my flight/racing sim 'pit
Hi folks
In another thread, alkyoneus asked that I post some pics of my home-built flight and racing sim pit. So here goes! Anyone else into simming? If so I'd love to see your setup!
The pics show the "dash" construction, and I have a video of the setup in use for racing. My focus is and always will be to maintain flexibility to I can swap between racing and flight within minutes (less than 2 minutes last time I timed myself!). So some compromises are always made, eg. as I am converting for a more focused A10-C setup (for use with DCS: Warthog) I must continue to use a side-stick (per the F-16 block) so I can retain proper geometry for driving controls.
I'll take more pics and a new in-flight video once the A10 "upgrades" are completed.
Thanks!

Thx guys. Much appreciated. As always it's a work in progress (I cant imagine ever being "finished") so I'll update with more pics as the setup evolves.
Ps: many cool cockpits out there too, I'm proud of my setup but there guys out there who make this seem Lego-like. Thewayiplay.com is one good site. Simpits.org is another.

Coming soon. Was planning on going upstairs tonight to get some hours in on the A10C (still learning that sucker...the C variant is a lot more complex than the older planes). However once we got the kiddo in bed I was just too wiped out. Hopefully this week I'll get up there and then I'll get some video.
