I've done it once (which doesn't make me a skydiver of course), but I loved it and want to do it again. If I ever find the free time I would consider doing it enough to get certified as I think it is fantastic. I have a video of my first skydive. Maybe I will post it later.

You need a minimum of 25 skydives to get your A license. Once you have your A license, you can jump with other licensed skydivers.
You'll probably do 10 or so skydives with an instructor, and the rest will be jumps by yourself. Use those to really work hard on getting very stable and turning well. Also, use those to begin exploring the limits of your canopy.
