If anyone is considering it, stop considering it, and just go do it. Jumping is something that lots of people want to do, but few ever do because it just seems so extreme. And actually it is. But it all you have to do is show up! And then fall down.
That's funny, but even if you jump with new gloves or a new helmet can throw you off. I can't imagine how much different it felt without all that gear.

Been once, I had a huge blast. One of the most amazing adrenaline rushes. I need to go again, but sadly school is in the way of it.

Anybody here with a fear of heights done it? I have a massive fear of heights, but skydiving doesn't seem to be all that scary to me, in the height sense of course. It looks so high up that you don't even get the perspective that scares you, as opposed to say, hanging out of a balcony on the 20th floor.

Bungyjumping, on the other hand. Not. Ever. In a million years.

Our brains can only comprehend distance to about 500 feet. Anything beyond that and it starts to be hard to comprehend. At 10,000+ feet it will look like a painting.

Most of the people who say they are terrified of heights come down and say it was amazing and they loved it, so long as they can work up the courage to do it. Haven't met anyone yet who it really bothered, but you might experience a whole lot of mental anxiety if you work yourself up too much.

All I can say is if you do go, I have a lot of respect for you. That can't be easy to conquer such a strong fear.
