PC-12 short field takeoff

I've got 500 hours in my last plane a Cirrus SR22 but I don't fly the Pilatus, not yet anyway, insurance requirements, etc. Just got it a couple of months ago (with a couple of partners). It's a 2007, had a bit under 1,000 hrs on it. It does have the IS&S glass panels which is pretty cool. useful load is 3,800 pounds and we plan for fuel about 400lb/hr for average trips, cruise about 250kts. So it will go far and carry a bunch of stuff.

Are you a new pilot? Was the Cirrus your first airplane? If so, it would be a good idea to have a copilot for about 500 hours in the pilatus until you feel completely comfortable with the airplane.
BTW welcome to TS, I see you've been a member for a while but these are your first posts.

Fairly new pilot, started flying in '06, bought the Cirrus and flew it about 500 hrs over the course of 2 years. Unlikely I'll ever fly the Pilatus solo as we've got 2 full time pilots (overkill for this A/C, yes, but makes the non-pilot partners more comfortable as well as cheaper insurance), it's as easy if not easier to fly than the Cirrus.
