I'm a private pilot. I currently own a Piper Arrow, and up until this past weekend was looking hard into a Cessna 310 twin engine. That sale fell apart though. I've flown the usual (Cessna 152/172/182) have a couple of hours in a Cirrus SR-22, etc. If I can find a way to get seat time, I do it. I love learning/flying different aircraft.

Crazy story...so can you autorotate those things or sorta glide in without power. Those stubs for wings dont look like they provide much lift.
Not taken the time yet, but look forward to doing my pilots lic in the next few yrs locally. In the meantime you guys might dig some pics I snapped walking around with my buddy at aopa 08 few weeks ago in san jose.

They are awesome. They have had a terrible history. However they fixed the problem nacelles. They are very safe now, and I would love to get a 609 tilt rotor, now if could just remember where I put my $12,000,000!?!
