Definitely figure out how to get it finished. I started at 17, soloed, did my short cross country and then ran out of money. I'm sure that's not your problem, but marriage and 2 kids prevailed and 17 years later (that's right -- at 34) I finally went back and finished up. I own my own plane now and love every minute of it. Finishing your Private is honestly the biggest hurdle. Everything else just flows after that.
