Just back today from driving the car at the Ascari Race Resort. I know as a Lamborghini dealer we are going to push how special the Huracan is but every dealer attending was impressed with how Lamborghini have kept the Gallardo's key strengths and moved the complete package on.

All of the time behind the wheel was on the track with 3 cars following an Aventador with a factory test driver and sure they were not going all the way and probably if generous 8/10 on what they could do, but the Huracan was well on the pace and when the drivers limits were stretched which was usually a lack of concentration, not the right gear or leaving the braking too late!,the car stepped in and consistently kept everything together.

Promise it is worth the patient wait for the demo cars to arrive and we have just had confirmation of our first customer car due to arrive late July so hoping our own car is before then.

Will post some images, first ones being the first time we have seen the Grigio Titans matt paint finish which highlighted all the lines that can be lost on some of the other colours

 

you really know how to keep me on the edge mr 7 oaks!!! any news on black wheels and the new loud sports exhaust??

 

Goldencrust, was thinking of you when when I took this image. Have video of the official factory sports exhaust system from cold standard start up switching to full sports mode. Will post when I can set it up and can see this being another must have option. Another image, same colour as our demo car and hope it looks as nice in the non 29 degree weather in Sevenoaks!

 

cheers for that......now seeing more colours in the real world the prospect of choosing one is getting tougher!! look forward to the exhaust, as you say this is going to be a must have option! it will give the car a harder edge!must admit the verde mantis shots ive seen make the shape look vey fresh and clean.........look forward to seeing it at the brekie club hopefully in june/july

 

The factory had a car at the World Dealer Launch event fitted with their full sports exhaust system option and thought we would share as I am sure many who have ordered their new Lamborghini will be looking to select this option when it becomes available.

 

 

yep, that new sports exhaust will be on my options list without doubt!!

 

why does he keep trying to compare it to the Ferrari........this is the base model! the Ferrari speciale is top of the 458 class, a real track bias car, if this isn't quite there yet what will the superleggera be like let alone a potential squadra corsa!!!

Cars ready to go out 3 at a time behind a factory test driver for 4 laps of the Ascari Race Resort circuit.

All the cars were pushed hard by the lead car and despite a variety of driving experience from all over the world the car ensured everyone stayed on track and experienced how Lamborghini have kept all the great features of the Gallardo but moved the game on.

Did not get to drive the car on the road but confident this will be where the Huracan LP610-4 will come into its own as the "complete" package.

 

For what it's worth, Dutch carmagazine stated that Lamborghini confirmed Huracan is going to retire already in 2022 and will be upgraded / facelift due 2018
