Huracán Fuel economy
I personally like, as I tend to drive my cars a lot, that Lamborghini puts in a lot of effort in order to get more efficiency.
Factory test numbers shows an improvement of 10-12 % less gasoline, compared to the LP560. That is great.
The new Start-Stop function, also called the eco mode, plays an import role in doing just that and keeping the emission down. Do I like this system? Hell yes, we are in 2014 now. I don't need my car to be loud at every red light. Often I drive in traffic, then why not?
But yes you can both disconnect and default it.
Here is my Start/Stop manual:
1. On/Off switch. Second from the right on the centre console (see the picture below).
2. System is only active in Strada mode. Select either Sport or Corsa and the system will be off.
3. Angel the wheels (not dead centre) and the system default. Front wheels have to be perfectly straight in order for the system to kick in.
4. Only push the brake when stopping VERY light.

hi guys, fortunate enough to have viewed the car at my dealers preview last night with a select group of people so was able to take in the detail a little bit more. the following is only on my personal opion and taste.
the car was shown in solid white with the standard wheels and brake calipers which really doesn't do it justice and all the guests I spoke to felt this was done so customers go mad with the option list!the car feels bang up to date without spoiling what made the Gallardo great.it feels solid and tight as a Porsche does and the build feels quality and audi like, I think the interior is spot on and love the alcantara finishes and the the wacky lambo styling, a great move forward without it looking tacky.the new seats are firm and feel comfy for road use and some track driving although meaner buckets would be good to see in future light weight cars. the steering wheel is a delight to hold and the real big paddles in a industrial metal casting are right up my street with a mechanical feel. our car had the glass engine cover with a stange shiney material called carbon composite which looked like the marble effect you get on a bowling ball in a silvery white and black finish which was polished. we were told production cars will have the same finish but in a matt finish. as I said in white it didn't seem mean enough as the aventador does and it needs this.at this stage no black rims are available which it needs and I cant believe they were not a option from the off, regarding options there aren't loads of them but they seem to be the ones you would need to build the right car!( all the options are pricey) blue tooth, alarm and navigation a cost option at this level!!!ive put my deposit in and the uk will not see cars to the end of the year.i'll get Christmas out of the way and get mine early in the new year for spring and hopefully my options will be there.the show car looked a little like an r8 in a audi sort of way it needs some attitude!! hence my provisional spec.
1/ grigio titans (matt) or nero nemesis( matt)
2/ solid black rims
3/ gloss black style package
4/ glass engine cover
5/ lifting kit
6/ rosso red alcantara with grigio titans,or arancio alcantara with nero
7/ suede leather wheel
8/ rosso brake calipers, arancio brake calipers( sub to paint colour)
9/ branding pack
10/ and the normal high fi, nav, phone etc
11/ the new steering pack and suspension set up
12/ exhaust chip
as you can see the basic car builds into a hefty price tag/ deep breath and here we go!!!.......appreciate any renderings on my spec
