Anyone had problems with the Aventador gearbox,mine failed today !
Transported back to the dealer, will hopefully know more tomorrow.

 

I guess that's what you get for having an Aventador and not sharing pictures with the community.

And if you have..then keep us posted on what went wrong

How did it fail on you? I only ask because a close business friend couldn't engage 2nd gear & beyond in his...problem is still being diagnosed.

 

Nothing major really, was on the way back from a late afternoon run,engine management light came on then shortly after gear box fault came up on dash and could only select fifth gear.
Pulled up and turned ignition off and tried to re start but no joy.
A friend of a friend is on his third gear box apparently, hopefully will find out cause tomorrow.

 

I sort of miss the days when Lambos just caught on fire when they didn't feel like running anymore.

 

Sounds very similar to his own unfortunate experience.

He was driving slow and finally when there was open road he tried opening her up but the car wouldn't engage. Then the light came on, he pulled over and restarted but also to no joy...he actually got 2 additional error lights. He didn't say which ones but I'm assuming they were the same as yours.

Hopefully, it's just a minor computer glitch that just needs a quick re-flash! Keep us posted please!

 

Mine did.
Check engine then mission failure light.
Pulled over and turned off.
Car didn't start so sent it into service.
Air pump failure.
In the shop now, fixing.
