My current track and winter steed is an Audi TTRS, the little bigger is a lot of fun, best thing is you never worry about it. Repairs are not outrageous and parts are quick.

But two things pull on me.

1. I drive an Aston Martin Vantage V12 all summer long and my family car is a Supercharged Range Rover Sport. As good as the Audi is, it feels less special after time in these. The motor is still sooo much fun though and I do like the size.

2. My best and childhood friend runs his R8 V10 all year withough any issues and he drives way more than me. I also drove his car on the track a few weeks ago, I loved how much fun it was. As good as it is,mi can't drive the same car as he does.

So I was wondering, is the price the only thing that stops people? It does not seem to bother the Porsche and Audi guys.

AND every manufacturer is making a big deal about snow videos, my guess is they want to change the perception in order to increase the sales.

I also know a Gallardo is not an every day car, but guys ride bikes.
