I think that if they had done their laps separately the SuperG would have won in a timed trial. if you notice after the Bike passes the SuperG on the straight, he catches up to the bike on the turns. Being that the other guy is on a bike the car would be less aggressive than normal when trying to pass him, as to avoid running him over. On the rest of the twisties the SuperG was about to eat him up.
