I am still waiting!!!

I have now been told that the car should clear production tomorrow and be on my driveway by the 23rd or 24th December. If it delays any further and I don't receive the car in time for Christmas, I will be very dissapoined!

 

that would be an excellent Christmas gift!

 

will you be able to drive it on summer tires where you live or is it below 0? i think i know how you feel. still have not driven mine for a mile, and it is painful to just watch her sit there. 23-24 delivery sounds disturbing, because of the holidays obviously, and the weather conditions. my delivery guy said he suffered from all kinds of weather: snow, hail, rain, and the road took him longer then expected. and the weather on your delivery route will only worsen as we go into next week (more snow, people leaving for holidays, blocked roads). best of luck, but i would not get my hopes up.

 

The dealer sent me an update this afternoon to confirm that my car has at last cleared production and is now ready for delivery to the UK. This time next week it should be in my garage. I had better get out there and get the garage cleaned out!

 

So let me get this straight --- you got a Lambo and are driving it from Italy to your home in the UK??? What route will you take? Through the mountains in late december?! wow this could be awesome lol

No, due to the delay, I have decided to have it delivered as I don't want to drive it back at this time of year.

 

I say drive it back from Italy anyway. That would be an epic road trip and you would always have a memory of the aventador for years to come

 

Prally a smart move.
