They announce when they will be checking if you're speeding? That defeats the purpose doesn't it? Haha.

I wish they had that in the U.S., would be a lot better than seeing biker cops hiding on the highway behind a bridge or curve with radar guns pointing at you...sneaky bastards.

LABrit, looks like you had an amazing time. And it was just beautiful scenery and beach and boat, sounds like a blast. Glad you're doing long drives with your LP, and not just leaving it parked in the garage. Impressive pictures and why are you holding out on the "chicas"? I thought we were all friends here on TS that like to share...

Yeah, it totally defeats the purpose. There are certain points, especially in and around cities, where they only post these warning signs once and there will be multiple camera's in the vicinity. It's great on the vast stretches of highway though.

Windshield fluid needed topping up...you tend to use a lot to clear bugs in between stops!

Glad you got home safe and sound bud.

It was a fantastic trip and my first holiday all year! Next year we're going to spend 2 days driving down over some mountain passes and 7 days around Cannes / St. Tropez. I'm going to look into hiring a yacht that can sleep 8 for a week but think it'll be too much as i can't see it being less than 25k?

Would love to meet up with a group of TS'ers over there next year, would be a great holiday!

What an incredible road trip! Looks like a blast. Glad you had fun and thanks for sharing. Your Lambo is probably perfect for a trip like that. I couldn't imagine doing it in anything else more fun.
