Not at all. Just an observation having been involved in many GT-R 'discussions' in the past. As I'm sure you're aware, it's very hard to get an accurate read on someone via an internet forum....so I'm certainly not going to make that leap and form any assumptions about you, personally.

That's perfectly okay. The GT-R either seems to have people hate it or love it. Not a lot of in-between with that car. I was never a hater, but was unsure and hesitant about it until I bought my first one. After that I was sold.

Well.......that's not actually the case. The 300+ whp 'busa you are talking about is Johnvon's. I witnessed that race first hand as a passenger in one of the UGR TTGs. The following day Johnvon found out that is nitrous hadn't been working correctly which is why he got hammered so badly (he was down 100 whp). A couple of nights later, with his nitrous working the way it was supposed to be, he raced another UGR TTG and was within a car length of him by 160. This doesn't take away from the TTGs as they are VERY fast. But that night, that particular 'busa was definitely short on power.

Of course, we've all recently seen the video of Tim in his TTG against the Shamrock TT busa...so ya, the cars are f'ing fast. Especially with a very competent driver like Tim behind the wheel. But like any other car on planet earth, they are beatable.

 

I haven't seen Tim TTG VS Shamrock TT Busa...time to watch it on YT lol. You're right though, there is always something faster. Thanks for all the info btw. Appreciate it. You seem like a good guy. Have fun out there man, stay safe.
