We can rationalize and make excuses for both sides all we want, but the fact is, the TTG lost, even with a 300+ lb weight advantage.

I'll run a 1600 whp TTG in TX next year. I expect I'll lose, as that's probably too much of a HP discrepancy for me to deal with, but I'll give it my best shot. And no, you won't hear me making excuses or rationalizing if I lose.
I find that very hard to believe, This was the second test run and he still hasnt figured out where the shifting point are???

If the lambo is awd why is it spinning so bad from a roll? all the over UGR lambos pushing similar hp didnt have that issue, at least not from the TX2K11 vids posted.

So you find it believable that something was wrong with the TTG, but can't believe that the Russian owner, who had the car sent to him a week or two before this race, wasn't aware that his redline was set at 8k rpm? I see...

You do realize that all test runs were done in the same evening, correct? A day or two later is when AMS find out he was short shifting his car and informed him. He'll definitely be shifting at 8k during the Moscow Unlimited event.

As far as why the TTG was spinning, it could be due to temperatures that night, the types of roads that they were on (Russian roads are different than TX roads, obviously), tire pressures, condition of his R888s, etc.. But even when the TTG hooked, the GT-R was still reeling it in like a bluegill.

Anyway, it's actually pretty funny how resistant some of you guys are to the fact that a UGR car lost a few races.

Regarding the GT-R, I guess you're right. It's a freakin' beast. I just can't stand the way they look lol. And if you have a GT-R that does 9.0 quarter mile, damn that's impressive.
As far as how GT-Rs look, of course that's totally subjective (I think they look awesome)...but I will tell you that I've never owned a car that garners more positive attention than a GT-R. People of all ages, both men and women, film me on the road, take pictures at stoplights, come up to me at gas-stations, etc.. The car is extremely popular to the general public.

It's also a very cross-shopped car. For example, three of my friends who own TT Gallardos either currently own, or have recently owned, GT-Rs. I find that most of the people that don't like GT-Rs have zero personal experience with them, and generally share a few other common personality traits. But it's all good. Thankfully we have many cars to choose from.

Resistant? I guess if thats what you call asking questions?

You own a high HP GTR... Bias much? All I know is that I have seen what the Lambos are capable of. Im sure the GTR's can be just as fast. I dont care which car win's, just wondering why the lambo looked like it was having so much trouble. Sorry for asking question's you already had all the answers to...

The GTR will always have the transmission advantage which takes away a great bit of the power advantage the Gallardo may have. Equal power the GTR should win just about everytime off the line, from a roll its much closer.

That being said if both cars were about to fall off a cliff, id push the GTR off first so it could cushion the GTT's fall.

LOL...I've owned domestic, German, and Japanese. I like many types of cars, including TTGs. I think they're great cars. But you're correct, I'm definitely biased.....to facts, rather than badges.
Sorry for asking question's you already had all the answers to...
No worries. Sorry for hurting your feelings. Wasn't my intention to do so.

Yes. I give thumbs up and appreciate the car, that is great how everyone loves it. Kudos

That bolded sentence was intended to be an insult huh? I'm very bright when it comes to these things, it was an insult right? Hahaha.

I'm not going to lie, I don't know my research, but when it comes to looks, sound, etc. it's not my cup of tea. Hands down, it's probably one of the best bangs for your buck regarding price to performance. It keeps up with many cars and is much cheaper. I'm glad you own a high HP GT-R, have fun and stay safe.

And after seeing UGR Gallardo's pretty much rape 300+hp Busa's, of course we're going to be reluctant a GT-R is pulling that hard on it. Haha
