Aventador test drive
#26
I have just finished my test drive of the car and I have to say it is amazing. I have never posted pictures before, so let me try that and then I will give you my thoughts on the car!

So, lets hope that worked and now I can tell you my thoughts on the car.
I was driving the car around country lanes for about 45 minutes and I am now very excited about my car coming in November. I was very surprised how after about 10 minutes settling into the car, it really didn't feel very intimidating and it was actually quite easy to drive fast.
Having tried all the gearbox modes, I am likely to spend most of my time on the road in Sport mode. The changes have good speed but it is also comfortable, but the bit I loved the most was that the blip of revs on the down changes made the most fabulous noise.
As you would expect from a 4x4 Lamborghini the traction is outragiously good, even on the relatively wet roads.
Anyway, these are a few of my thoughts, please feel free to ask any questions and I will try my best to answer!

I still cannot get used to the all-digital gauges.
They automatically date the car. A few years from now they will not look good and most likely become pixelated. IMO, stuff like this prevents a car from becoming a classic 20,30+ years from now.
I believe some components should remain analog.
