Another UGR TT build, this time it's my car!

Being that you own 2 Z06's and a GT2, which 2 of them are 10 second cars, how does the gallardo compare with them now after the UGR TT? I love the work that UGR does and if I ever get a gallardo, it's going straight to them, but was just wondering how they compare.
How does the power feel, traction putting that power down, handling, just overall? Can you please be specific? After driving the gallardo hard, does the GT2 and Z06 feel slow? Lol
Thanks

See you there dude.
I can do a ton of photos, as Alex won't be there.

My track Z06 that is set-up for the road course runs 10.6@136 and ran 193.x in the mile with tranny issues shifting into 4th.
It is a very fun car to drive around town and even more fun at the track. In stock form the Z06 is a great daily driver. Fast and comfortable. Mine is currently very stiff and loud enough that you would want earplugs if you went for a long drive. This car accelerates and stops wonderfully. It does have traction issues since it is 570whp/540wtq. This car is dead solid up to 205mph(that is the fastest I have been in it)
The GT2 is completely different than the other two. It is more refined than the Z but not as much as the lambo. It is fast. Trapped 143mph in the 1/4 and ran 206mph at the TX Mile. Fun car that is very well sorted out for having stock suspension. It is the most difficult car to stop at high speed. You have to let off the gas and get into the brakes slowly so as not to upset the weight transfer. Somewhat loud in the cabin with the exhaust noise and the blow off valves. I actually like the sound of the car - some might feel it is too loud. It hooks very well but does have some issues at slower speeds. GT2's front end starts to feel light above 130mph and it wants to wonder above 160mph. The 206 pass at the mile was the scariest ride of my life. I used at least three lanes worth of pavement under acceleration and braking.
The lambo is in another league. It is stupid fast on high boost. It is the same setup as Kyle's car that ran 241mph at the TX Mile. It should trap in the low 160's - maybe a little better. Tough to launch and it is a 6 speed.
The amazing thing is the car is just so damn stable and planted that it really is too easy to drive at speed that you could get yourself in trouble really quickly.
The first time I drove the car I thought I was going to hit the car in front of me because it has the numbest feeling brakes of any car that I have ever driven. Amazingly they really do work and you can haul this car down very quickly from high speeds.
I have not taken it around a road course but my guess is it would be very respectable. The car is very well balanced - more so than I thought it would be.
In stock form the lambo is quiet and docile but very underwhelming from a power standpoint. It is listed at 520hp but it would just get raped by a stock Z06.
Now the car makes a myriad of noises from the exhaust note to the turbo whine. Plus the pop off valves and the gear whine.
It truly is a great car. And as Ben said - no matter what setting or how fast you push the car you never feel out of control.
I just don't feel like messing with a trailer to go to cars and coffee. I have to load it twice, unload it twice. It is a real pain in the ass.
Trust me - the lambo will see lots of street miles this summer and will attend most of the C&C's.
I can chime in on this a little as I've driven Eric's GT2 and Z06 and recently rode in the Gallardo. His Z06 is quick. It's heavily modded and a very capable car. It's loud and raw. His GT2 is faster, quite a bit faster. It's more refined and a VERY well sorted car. The Gallardo on the other hand is in an entirely different league. The acceleration is absolutely savage. The temperament of the car however is relatively docile. It's composed at nearly all times, planted and surefooted. The noises it makes are unmatched by anything I've ever been in, a list that is pretty extensive. UGR puts together to complete package and you really feel that even on "full kill" the car is never out of control. It's just stupidly fast.

All three are 10 second cars if I let Ranger drive the stock Z06 at MIR during a track rental in good weather. (But that is a whole other topic)

And like you said, the turbo spool is unreal, I bet that sounds just as good if not better than the V10 screaming in the back. Congrats on getting your car and I'm glad you like it. Enjoy it in good health, and please take good care of it
. Take care.John
