They said the other day that they are now going to build a "demo" car for each dealership before any customer cars (so July at a guess)
btw have you noticed how many dealership they have opened/plan to open in China?

China is going to be very important market for Lamborghini. Had a few conversations today, the demand for the car is even greater than expected before after presentations tour started and delivery terms are to be set as for now.
One guy in Germany ordered his in new shade of pearl orange - Aranicio Argos. He was told that one of the cars are going to be delivered apoximately late July. But nothing is confirmed.

a lot of she heard he heard stuff going on....
There are 45plus cars being and already built for FIRST delivery direct to the top perfroming Dealers. These cars will be used to take orders from cutomers. The cars will arrive at the selected Dealers world wide with in the week after the unvieling at Geneva. These cars will remain the proprty of the Factory and can not, as in the past, be sold to a high paying cutomer to get a first "demo" car out on the streets. These Demo cars will be sold AFTER October 1st 2011.
The first customer order cars will take delivery in mid April, of course these countries are represented by their importance and sales to the company, RHD being the bulk of the first delivery as it is a smaller share and easy to get them down the line and switch the production line to LHD drive cars.
As with all production, there will be a set number of cars already in the pipeline and near completion waiting for specific option orders from the cutomer, then the last of the car completed and shipped out.
As the "backlog" of partly completed cars dwindles...this will be the vacuum of the later delivery cars that are now being built from ground up...these are the cars to USA/China etc .. that will start hitting the streets in late June mid July..
There is also another very important resaon for July Deliverys..under DOT law as as well as other countries that follow suit with the USA..cars delivered prior to June 30, 2011 will be 2011 MY coded cars by VIN. Cars AFTER June 30, 2011 are legally allowed to carry 2012 VIN coding. It may not seem imporatnat, but it does make a difference for BANK financing as well as insurance costs for these cars in multiple coutries.
