No homeslice! It means you are brainwashed to buy a ferrari because it has great history. It's a marketing ploy and obviously you are a prime candidate. There are plenty of other manufacturers that have race history but they dont go around pounding their fist about race history. Wake up!

JLMIAMI is an unknown quantity at this point
the 458 does absolutely nothing for me, it is so plain, the 430 had such an incredible aggressive look. That look of Ferrari's slowly went away with the production of the California. In my opinion when Ferrari did away with their signature two light design, they lost a piece of their own history. So to sum everything up, right now Lambo has that aggressive style that cannot seem to be beat. The only car i see coming close to the base Gallardo anytime soon is the new Mclaren

Can we grow up a little bit? You like whichever car you like for the REASONS that you like them, be it racing history, usefulness, or looks. To each his own and respect people's opinions.

For me it's the 458 and while I dont know specifically why, I just know that if you put two keys in a bag, made me chose one without looking, I'd be more than happy with either, but I'd be hoping for the Ferrari.

I think this test would be more interesting if it was:

Balboni vs. 458
Base 458 vs. base gallardo
upcoming 458 spider vs. lambo convertible
Next harcdore variant 458 vs. Superleggera.

Just my .02
