Lambo in ALMS 2011
Today on Speed watching the Petite Lemans they announced 2 Lambo's will be joining the GT class next year.
This can only help Lambo's in the years to come to try and change the rep from poser car to race car imho.
I applaud Lambo for this move and I'm glad to see someone cut their teeth into a strong series with Porsche, Ferrari, Ford, Jag, BMW and Corvettes. I don't understand why it's taken so long for them to attempt and I will be curious to see how they do. It's a tough series with various track types and Lambo will gain respect from me over the year for finally trying to prove themselves against the rest of the world.
Maybe with more success than the GTR's in 2004

Don't get me wrong I'm still not a fan......well except the Miura

What is there to spar about
They've never proven themselves and possibly never will. It's not your fault.
While the super trofeo's racing isn't much more than the ferrari challenge at least Ferrari is deep into road racing world wide. This is the way you gain heritage and followers. You can't do it with fancy paint if you want the TRUE car enthusiests. You add fancy paint to stick out at a cars and coffee.
I for one am anxious to see them in the hunt. ALMS is really turning out to be have a solid GT class and it's been exciting racing all year. Although the Fords and Jags weren't much of a factor The rest of the series made for some awesome racing.
