Paris 2010: Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept lights up the stage

I am so completely overwhelmed by the thought of how 999kg, four wheel drive, 560hp natural aspirated v10 with ceramic brakes will handle, brake, accelerate that I can't even see what this car looks like.
If it had these specs but looked like uwe gemballa's haircut with four wheels you could still count me in.

This car as a technical exercise for performance, at least for what has been posted on paper is breath taking. But as for a design exercise...... there are things that are intriguing but also things that I do not like.....
All I can make of this is Lambo been Lambo... and it is not a bad thing.

As I told, design is not for everyone. Personally I can accept its design, but the main thing for me is weight and performance. I just hope Lambo will use this formula in future production supercars. Reducing weight is the key to the performance in future, supercars became just a bit opulent.

I personally think it's bloody ugly. But, it is just a concept and the only reason anyone does a concept is to cause a stir - generate some interest and column inches in the press. And it has certainly done that. Some design elements will no doubt be seen on the next generation cars, but we should just look at it as a marketing exercise in extravagance...

Polite way of saying it's butt-ugly, but as Lambo's #1 fanboy you have to pretend it doesn't make you shit your pants and collapse in your own crap every time you see it.
Fair enough.
I wouldn't be so insulting if the roofline and windshield weren't so obviously Gallardo.

^^^ Fair enough, but not for this case exactly, I am not a Lambo fanboy, honestly speaking I am not a fanboy of anything at all, may be with an except of Bugatti.
When I see something looking like shit I will say that it looks like shit. Design is pretty interesting for a concept car only, I would never want to see something like that on the road with Lambo badge on it. But as a concept car to show the new way of creating a CF I can accept it. The main purpose of the concept was to show new philosophy of weight saving and new CF creating approach. I agree that this concept looks in not for everyone and I am hearing a lot of negative things about it even from L-dealers. But still its just a concept.
And while the majority here don't like this concept at all, I would like to calm you a bit - Murcielago successor will NOT look anything like this concept at all and it will be truly insane looking, as Lambos always were.
