I've never seen a company as good at keeping it's cars hushed before a release. The amount of effort they put into it is incredible.

what about Porsche? They've done it twice, with the CGT and 918

The CGT wasn't a secret I remember seeing photos and all kinds of stuff before the official car came out.

The 918 Spyder definitely slipped well below the radar up until its debut.

hmm, cos I remember reading an article in a car mag, and the journalist said when Porsche revealed the CGT, they were caught completely off guard

Porsche didn't make any effort at all to disguise the Carrera GT test mules.
