So the hard true facts are following:
1) Engine - 6.5 liter 60 deg. V12 good for 700 hp at 8250 rpm and 690 nm at 5,500 rpm. Four valves per cylinder, variable valve timing, four blocks. Euro 5, CO2 emissions 398g/km. 17.2 l/ 100km.
2) Transmission - Haldex AWD and all-new 7-speed e-gear sequential with 5 different settings. It is CFK triple cone syncronized gearbox with ISR system with actuator for each gear shift instead of DCT. Gear exchange rate is 50 milliseconds with different feelings of gear exchange - from sporty and race-like emotional sequental gearchange feeling to soft flexibility.
3) Dynamics - 0-100 km/h sprint in 2.9 seconds, topspeed above 350 km/h (lower than previously rumored).
4) Weight - 1550 kg.
5) Wheels - 19' front, 20' rear. Be prepared for huge tires.
6) Chassis - CF monocoque with patented RTM reinforcements, aluminium subframes in front and rear. Stiffness is 32000 nm.
7) Body - doors, fenders and hood - aluminium. Roof and all remaining body - CF. Bumper featute active aero and are made from special flexible composite material.
8) Interior - all-new interior with new sitting position, more headroom, more usability and all-new Y-shape design with new digital instrument panel. Also Lamborghini signed contract with new leather supplier, so expect quality never seen before.
9) Design - also all-new as mentioned before body is made in V-shape, front reminds of Reventon but in a good way with beautifully sculpted all-LED lights and very agressive design, rear is with a bit of clues taken from Estoque like thin LED rear lights, but its not any kind of mix of styles. It is a truly insane new design, all its glory is hard to describe with word, its a must see. All I can say design is very Lambroghini DNA without any question.
So the main question to other Lamborghini specialists here - is the engine all-new or they used old-good V12 engine block? I have requested this info from my contacts, but have not recieved an answer yet.

Speaking about performance - Lamborghini are now making their bet on usability of performance, handling and acceleration, so the 700 hp are enough as for now.
And take in cosideration that this is model for at least 4 years, so they need to have reserves for future power increase as well.
Latest sources suggest that Lamborghini will decrease the production time of Murcielago successor from 9-10 year as it was previously to 7-8 years because of competition.
Just look at competitors - Ferrari for example. 550 and facelifted 575 were on the run for almost 10 years before 599 GTB was launched. Now after only 6 years 599 GTB will be changed with all-new model (F152). And from what I am starting to hear the specs are more than impressive and the car will not be a restyle of 599 GTB, it will be almost a new car instead.

Doors going a bit to the side and then up as I've told before. Also doors are opening by much bigger angle now than current L-doors allowing tall people to get in with comfort.
